| March 6, 2009 | Groundhog Job Shadow Day NVTC's Groundhog Job Shadow Day program gives students the opportunity to "shadow" executives, technology workers, and workers that support the technology industry within NVTC member companies as they go through a normal day on the job. Job shadowing provides students an up-close look at how the skills they learn in school are put into action in the workplace, reinforcing the connection between academic achievement and career planning. |

Fairfax County Economic Development Authority - Business Calendar
The FCEDA produces a Small Business Calendar of Events designed especially for small, minority or women-owned businesses plus many of the local chambers of commerce and business organizations also host events open to members and nonmembers.
Community Business Partnership
Created in 1995, the Community Business Partnership is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. It was formed in response to an identified need for small business technical assistance and financing services, particularly to low-moderate income and disadvantaged individuals, including minorities, women and the disabled. While providing high quality training and counseling to all small businesses, the Partnership seeks to provide a financing alternative to benefit those unable to attract a commercial loan or other traditional source of funds.
