Fairfax, VA – When The Patriot Entrepreneur last spoke with Robert Gaudian for the Fall 2006 issue, his new business was in the early stage of its development. A year and a half later, MediaForce PR has grown in size and experience, and has carved its own niche in the industry.
In January of 2005, Gaudian founded MediaForce PR with hopes of filling what he felt was a “void for a results-oriented social marketing agency in the DC area.” Today, MediaForce PR still channels its marketing and sponsorship efforts toward positive change and community programs. MediaForce PR also utilizes its video and audio production capabilities and talent in the development and production of public service announcements (PSAs), podcasts and other media for both government and non-profit clients. “We see ourselves as innovators in the field, ‘revitalizing’ the way that PR has been done for non-profits the past few generations.”
Over the past year, Gaudian has witnessed the most dramatic changes in MediaForce PR. "We have been given the opportunity to build marketing programs that involve both electronic media as well as more specialized fields such as transit." Other channels and strategies include audio and video production, conference recording, web development, spokesperson placement, in-store broadcasting, and podcasting.
MediaForce PR links organizations with government agencies and non-profits to build strategic relationships that facilitate brand awareness and marketing initiatives. The company’s focus on social and cause marketing comes at a time when more organizations are realizing the power of associating their products and services with community-based marketing campaigns.
In the world of digital convergence Gaudian views MediaForce PR as a one-stop shop for integrated social marketing campaigns. Utilizing its production and distribution expertise across several mediums, the company now promotes its clients via the Web, broadcast, cable, transit, place-based media and publishing. In addition, the company provides qualitative and quantitative metrics that enable clients to evaluate the progress and success of their programs.
When asked what lies ahead for MediaForce PR, Gaudian said, "We continue to develop new channels for our clients’ messaging campaigns.” Recently, MediaForce PR graduated from the Mason Enterprise Center, but has decided to continue to lease space in the facility. The company has also added a satellite location in the District.
With the high growth rate of MediaForce PR and the people he has hired to help him on his way, Gaudian has a great deal to be proud of lately. “I can’t imagine a more rewarding and fulfilling experience than what I have right now,” said Gaudian. “My company is growing, I work with incredibly talented people, I have great clients and I feel fantastic about the way I spend each day. What more can you ask for?”
“Don’t put off pursuing your dreams,” said Gaudian. “Most people don’t act on their ideas because they are afraid of failure, but entrepreneurs know that everything does not always go according to plan. We grow from these challenges and become more valuable professionally and more fulfilled personally. In addition, these learning experiences bring us closer to our goals and success.”
